Choosing the right way to honour someone can be challenging when grieving. Together with your Funeral Director, I will support and guide you along the journey of loss, to create a truly personal and unique ceremony.

Choices

The time spent at the burial or cremation is precious and passes quickly. I will help you to make your choices count.

Alternative Funerals

Our Ceremonies are non-religious, but can still be traditional. You may have arranged with your Funeral Director an alternative venue, like a woodland site for the burial or the scattering of the ashes, or may just want a Memorial. I will help you find the right Order of Service to help you say goodbye to your loved one in a beautiful and personal way.

Readings & Poems

Words carry so many memories - finding the right reading, poem or religious text not only has deep associations, but allows members of the family to participate in a meaningful way. I can help you choose, source and then add the text to your Order of Service.

Songs & Music

Singing treasured songs or hymns together brings unity. Or maybe a live performance that was truly special, or a meditative piece to be played at the committal. You may find it difficult to choose, so why not compile a list and take it from there. As your Celebrant, I will make all the arrangements.

Eddie - A Memorial

The Eulogy is perhaps the most important part of the funeral ceremony, where the love that you and your family and friends have for your dear departed soul has to be distilled into a short but meaningful tribute. My job as your Celebrant is to take all your thoughts and memories and create that speech for you. I will also deliver it on the day if that is your wish.

First contact, often via the Funeral Director, and introductions, in Person, by Phone or Online
A sensitive meeting in person to share your thoughts and wishes

Helping you to choose readings, poetry and other text passages
Working with you to select the right music
Discussing any special requests or rituals
I will create a script to deliver the Ceremony from start to finish
Using your and your families memories and stories, I will write a fitting Eulogy, or Tribute

Unlimited communication throughout by Phone, Email or WhatsApp
Unlimited editing to meet your unique requirements
Coordination with the Funeral Director
Travel within 30 miles (if further, travel expenses will be charged)
